Australia Ecological Study Tour 2018

Four teachers and 20 students from Po Leung Kuk Stanley Ho Sau Nan Primary School and our school went to Gold Coast, Australia for a nine-day ecological and educational study tour from 12th to 20th July 2018. Students got a precious opportunity to learn about the developments of ecology, education and culture in Australia as well as building their confidence on the use of English.

Students had the opportunity to stay with the host families. They also studied in the well-established Imagine Education Australia's College. Besides learning in the college, they visited Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Paradise Country and therefore they could closely touch and feed the wild animals. A visit to Warner Bros. Movie World Theme Park, Surfers Paradise, Burleigh Heads and Harbour Town provided a chance for them to experience the culture there.

Finally, they needed to work with their learning groups to film a video about ecology. They have learnt how to solve problems by themselves and taken care of each other.

We visited the famous Surfers Paradise of Gold Coast, Australia.
We visited the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to meet koalas and kangaroos as well as other wildlife animals.
We visited the Warner Bros. Movie World Theme Park to enjoy different exciting games such as world-class adventure rides.
We visited the Paradise Country.
We achieved the graduation certificates after completing sucessfully a week English programme in the Imagine Education Australia’s College.
