S.2 Job Simulation

In order to increase students' exposure to different careers, a job simulation activity was held for Form 2 students on 05/02/2024. Students got a glimpse into the careers of being interior designers, nutritionists, vets, waiters and ambulancemen, etc. It was such a valuable experience for students as the activity provided a platform for them to experience various careers. Overall, students learned a lot from the job simulation.

60th Schools Dance Festival

Big congratulations to our students in our School Dance Team who demonstrated teamwork and perseverance throughout the year during dance team rehearsals. The students got to showcase the fruit of their hard work on the 31st of January in the 60th Schools Dance Festival and won the Commended Award. They are:

S3 Growth and Leadership Training Day Camp

On 5th and 6th February 2024, our Growth and Leadership Training Day Camp for Secondary 3 students took place, leaving an indelible mark on the participants' lives. Held in Hong Kong Award for Young People Jockey Club Duke of Edinburgh Training Camp, this empowering camp was a unique blend of team-building exercises and thrilling adventure activities, aimed at fostering personal growth and leadership skills.

2023-24 Life Planning Education Enrichment Program (Form 3)

On 3rd and 31st January 2024, the Life Planning Education Enrichment Program was held for Form 3 students. Students were introduced to the importance of choosing the correct elective subjects which they will study in S4. The programme was important as it was designed to help students plan for their future studies in advance. Most students found the event meaningful!

S1 Leadership and Training Day Camp

Excitement filled the air as Secondary 1 students embarked on the thrilling S1 Leadership Training Day Camp, filled with team-building activities and the adrenaline rush of abseiling. Held on 5th February 2024 at Junior Police Call Permanent Activity Centre, the camp aimed to foster unity and camaraderie among the students, while also challenging their limits. As the students conquered their fears and descended down the long ladder, cheers of encouragement echoed through the campsite.

2023-2024 S3 Parent Talk 2

The 2nd S.3 Parents' Talk was held at the college on 31th January 2024. Teachers from Po Leung Kuk Vicwood K.T. Chong Sixth Form College were invited to introduce the information of the elective subjects offered in S4. Parents and S3 students were listening attentively at the hall. Both parents and students were satisfied as they received the useful information through the talk.

2023-2024 Biotech Taster Workshop

A one-day Biotechnology Taster Workshop for primary students was successfully held on 13th January, 2024. The workshop included the introduction of cell structures and DNA as well as DNA extraction of different fruits. All the primary school students and our student helpers enjoyed this activity very much.

Po Leung Kuk 145th Anniversary Special Exhibition

Teachers and students from our school visited the Po Leung Kuk 145th Anniversary Special Exhibition at the Hong Kong Heritage Museum.

Po Leung Kuk is a well-known institution in Hong Kong. The words "Po Leung" refer to "baochi anliang" (protection of the young and the innocent), reflecting one of Po Leung Kuk's most important social functions since the late 19th century - rescuing and protecting destitute women and children.

PTA Parent's Talk and Joint-school Sharing Session

In order to enhance students' capabilities to self-learn and help parents exert a positive influence on their children, the PTA organized a talk "How parents can walk with teenagers" delivered by WEMP on 4/2 the Parents' Day. After the talk, there was sharing session with Joint-school PTA on consolidating communication and cooperation between parents and PTAs of the two school. More than 30 families participated in the talk, the parents and students gained more information about children's mental health.

The PTA’s representative was presenting a Certificate of Appreciation to the guest speaker.
