Maker Festival – BA and Economics Lunchtime Activity

The board game called Stock Trading Guru was successfully held in the activity room during lunchtime on 20th March 2019. The board game offers students a valuable opportunity to learn some essential financial knowledge, and encourage good attitudes towards money management. The game can also help students understand "Stock Trading as an Investment" - a compulsory part of the revised BAFS curriculum. The participants enjoyed the activity and found the knowledge practical.

Maker Fortnight – Geography Department

During the Creative and Innovative Entrepreneurship and Maker Fortnight, the Geography Department brought a full-of-fun lunchtime activity to our students. In the activity, students took part in the Typhoon pavilion in the Geography room. They had to finish some tasks when experiencing the strong wind in the tent. All in all, students had great fun in the activity.

CGC: Attending Railway 101 Course

Railway 101 Course, this program was held on 9 March 2019 which offered students a valuable opportunity to learn safety in railways, railway technology and railway operations. The aims of this program are to introduce the railway industry to students for their future career development and further studies planning by offering applied learning and railway related short courses.

Students were learning about railway operations in the classroom.

iPoor Experiential Life

Through a series of activities to explore and experience poverty and lack of community care, our students had a special experience and understood the plight of the poor.

The 2018-2019 Form 1 First Term Exam Prize Presentation Ceremony was held at the school hall during the morning assembly on 8 March, 2019.

School Talk by The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries

On 7th March, Business Accounting Department invited The Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries to hold a school talk for our students. The topic of the talk was "Ethics and Corporate Governance". Students had a great time with speakers from the institute and the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. Students were divided into 5 groups. Speakers delivered the topic through a presentation and interactive games. Students were so excited. The atmosphere was good during the activities.

Cultural Detective

Cultural Detective! This program was held on 9 March 2019 which offered students a valuable opportunity to learn leadership skill. Under the guidance of volunteers, students learned about different thinking strategies and how to communicate with others through this program.

"Love Our City" Mini Forum

MCNEC organized the "Love Our City" - Mini Forum during lunch recess on 1 March 2019. It is a chance for students to express their views on the topic "Should Hong Kong be plastic-free?"

Our students represented different stakeholders to present their viewpoints about the topic in the mini forum.
