CGC and Geography Department – JA Hong Kong “bE inspired! & Shaping Our City Tomorrow Competition”

In order to unleash students’ potential, three Form 3 students were given the opportunity to participate in the 'bE inspired! & Shaping Our City Tomorrow Competition' workshop, held collaboratively by Junior Achievement (JA) Hong Kong and Arup, on 25 October 2024. During the activity, students had the chance to meet peers from different secondary schools and discuss essential issues regarding green building, such as ensuring the sustainability of the construction process and addressing environmental and urban problems caused by construction. Along with the site visit to AIRSIDE which received the Green Building Award 2023 from The Hong Kong Green Building Council, students learned through case studies and gained valuable insights. The vivid experiences this workshop provided has undoubtedly enhanced students’ knowledge in the field of geography, specifically green building.
