In celebration of the 25th anniversary of Tong Nai Kan Junior Secondary College, the Art Exhibition was held from 28th April to 2nd May. We are honor to have our School Chief Supervisor Mrs Winnie Chan and the Chief Currciulum Development Officer (Art Education) Dr Lesley Chan officiating the opening ceremony on 29th April at Jockey Club Creative Arts Centre (JCCAC). Most of the visitors were amazed with our various art installations set up in the Art Exhibition.
Through students' digital art works, visitors were guided on a tour of TNK on the space and time axis in this wonderful Art Exhibition.
Combining technology and art, students of TNK reinterpreted the educational phenomenon "STEM" in the most creative manner. In the four exhibition areas "S". "T", "E", and "M", visitors could enjoy a unique campus tour through this unconventional art exhibition:
"S" stands for "Space". Through 3D illusion paintings, visitors were led into the TNK campus and peeps into the feature campus construction.
"T" stands for "Time". Through the "memory trail" full of memories and records, visitors could immerse into the good old days of TNK under the leadership of the three principals at different stages. Reminiscing about the past and welcoming the future, a series of cylindrical mirror anamorphosis art installations were created to see the future of TNK in the eyes of students through different angles of plane and mirror cylinders!
"E" stands for "Electronic". In the interactive projection area, through the interaction with digital paintings, visitors could experience TNK's vibrant technology education.
"M" stands for "Metropolis". Augmented reality (AR) art works allowed visitors to travel between reality and virtual reality easily, and to enjoy the richness of learning activities in TNK, just like the abundance in the future metroverse.
