In order to broaden the horizons of our students, the school has organized a study tour ‘Mainland Exchange Programme for Secondary Students 2024-25 – Discovering Guangxi: An Exploration into the Landform of Guilin and Yangshuo’.
This exchange program offered students with experiential learning opportunities to understand the geological characteristics of Guilin and Yangshuo by visiting several locations, including Seven Star Cave (七星景區), China Karst Geological Museum (中國岩溶地質館), Silver Cave (銀子岩), Shiwai Taoyuan (世外桃源), Yangshuo West Street (陽朔西街), Elephant Trunk Hill (象鼻山) and Lijiang River (灕江). Throughout the program, students understand the importance of establishing natural scenic spots to the development of a city while achieving a harmonious balance between urban advancement and environmental preservation. Additionally, this program provides students with the chance to immerse themselves in Chinese culture, strengthening their connection to the nation and enhancing their sense of national identity.
