Careers Guidance Committee - S3 Student and Parent Talk on Further Studies on SFC (2): NSS and subject selection

In order to help students better prepare for their future senior secondary studies, a student and parent talk was held on 10th February, 2025.

 

The talk on selection of NSS elective subjects was divided into 4 parts: Introduction to the criteria and methods for selection of elective subjects, introduction to different elective courses and specific subject selection considerations and a Q&A session for parents and students. The talk was fruitful with parents and students gaining a better understanding of the senior form subject electives.

Students and parents attend the talk in large numbers.
Parents play a vital role in the students’ education by actively asking questions.
Students ask questions to help them in selecting their electives.
Students are introduced to the subject electives by teachers.
Parents attend the talk to understand the elective subjects available to students.
