Po Leung Kuk Leadership and Discipline Training Camp Passing Out Ceremony cum Sharing Forum

In order to enhance the leadership ability, sense of responsibility and team spirit among students, Po Leung Kuk provides all affiliated schools (secondary schools) a 4-Day-3-Night Leadership Training Camp. This gives opportunities for students to be independent and to have self-development. Our school organized the activity for all Form 3 students from 22nd Jan-25th Jan.

F.3 students are performing marching in the ceremony in order to demonstrate the learning outcomes of the leadership camp.

Joyful Fruit Week

The anual Joyful Fruit Week was held successfully this year from 7 March to 11 March. This event aims at raising the students' awareness about the importance of fruits and healthy lifestyle. Students participated actively in all the activities.

Experience EMI Learning Day

The Experience EMI Learning Day was held on 12 March, 2016 (Saturday). P.5 and P.6 students were invited to experience having lessons that use English as the medium of instruction. Besides the EMI lesson experience (Mathematics, Geography and History), a 3D Design and printing workshop and some Science and English activities were also prepared for the students. The participants enjoyed the day a lot.

2015-2016 Joint-School PTA Activity Day

A total of 83 participants, including principals, teachers, parents and students attended the 2015-16 Joint-School PTA Activity Day at Tai Mei Tuk on 5 March, 2016.

Take Action for the Poor 2015-2016

A donation activity for the poor was carried out from 7th to 11th March. All students were encouraged to donate their old clothes, toys, and stationery for the poor during the week. The donated materials were then transferred to the people in need in Hong Kong with the help of Christian Action.

Student volunteers helped sorting out the donations.

1C Community Service

1C students visited the Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong, the Sheung Tak House on 12th March, 2016. Students taught the residents how to make Chinese Ruyi knot and they shared their products with the community after the program. The residents shared the experience of living in the House as well as the struggles in dealing with mental distress.

Students formed different groups and preparing for the visit in the home.

1A Community Service

1A students participated in the Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong Flag Selling Day on 5th March, 2016. The students did their best to sell the flags in order to help the people suffering from mental and emotional distress.

Students are formed into small groups and listening to the briefing.

Fund Raising Booth

Participants of the Career Exploration Program prepared a booth to raise fund after the Po Leung Kuk Charity Walk on 20th February, 2016. Students prepared different props for people to take photos. Donors and their family members can design their photo frame with our students. Students learnt the skills of managing and planning through the activity.
