25-26 Prize Presentation of Bookmark Design Competitions

To promote our library’s new bookmark design, we organized a bookmark design competition. Many students submitted their creative designs, and we received a lot of beautiful entries. After careful selection, three students from Class 1C were chosen as the winners of the competition.

All student awardees receive the prizes and certificates presented by our Vice Principal, Ms Wong Hui Tung.

The Student Reading Talk by Ms Fan Kien Mei

To promote our school’s reading culture, we were fortunate to invite Ms. Fan, an expert on reading culture in Hong Kong schools, to give a reading talk for students after school on 12 November 2025. The aim of the talk was to teach our librarian and student ambassadors how to promote books and choose suitable reading materials. The talk provided new insights and ideas to our teachers and students on how to further develop the reading culture in our school. All participants were grateful for the opportunity to spend time with Ms. Fan.

Staff Development Day – Environmental Workshop

On 18 December 2025, an environmental workshop for staff was held to promote waste reduction, recycling, and energy conservation initiatives. The program aimed to strengthen environmental protection and encourage greater awareness of caring for public property. We were delighted to welcome Dr. Michelle Cheung as our guest lecturer, who shared valuable insights with the participants. As part of the workshop, staff members also created their own Christmas ornaments using recycled materials, combining creativity with sustainability.

Nation History Team - Visiting Antiquities and Monuments Office Exhibition “Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons: A Golden Era of Multicultural Integration and Openness”

In the vast firmament of Chinese history, the Tang Dynasty (618-907 AD) shines as an extraordinarily brilliant era. To help students gain an understanding of the culture and historical knowledge of Tang China, the National History Team organized a visit to the “Tang Vogue Beyond the Horizons: A Golden Era of Multicultural Integration and Openness” exhibition held by the Antiquities and Monuments Office on 19th December, 2025. Through this activity, students learned about the history of the Tang Dynasty to enhance their sense of national identity and to foster the universal value of cultural integration.

The Life Education X Job Exploration Sharing Seminar

In order to facilitate students' understanding of diverse career paths and promote essential life values, the Careers Guidance Committee and the Discipline and Guidance Committee invited LOVE @ CANINE VOLUNTEER to hold The Life Education X Job Exploration Sharing Seminar for all S.1 Students. The event was highlighted by the visit of two working dogs, Fook and McQueen. The seminar was designed to introduce the requirements, development and benefits of becoming a dog trainer.

Music Workshop for Enhancing Well-Being

To help students learn self-relaxation techniques and reduce anxiety, the Music Department, in collaboration with the Discipline and Guidance Committee, hosted a series of workshops during lunch recess in Term 1. These included Singing Bowl Workshops, African Drumming Workshops, and Glass Music Wind Chime Creation Workshops. Through these musical activities, students effectively released stress and enhanced their inner sense of calm. The creative process inspired their imagination and improved their self-expression skills.

S2 Prevention of Addiction Workshop

To promote a healthy lifestyle and prevent internet addiction, the Discipline and Guidance Committee, in collaboration with the Moral, Civic and National Education Committee, invited the Po Leung Kuk's "Healthy Teens Program" to conduct a "Prevention of Addiction Workshop" for Form 2 students on November 14th. The activities included self-assessment of internet addiction risk, exploring underlying reasons, and discussing coping strategies. Students actively participated and gained significant benefits from the workshop.

DGC X CGC Barista Worksop (I)

The Discipline and Guidance Committee, in partnership with the Careers and Guidance Committee, hosted a Barista Workshop with two engaging sessions on November 19 and 26. The workshop aimed to cultivate students' personal interests while reducing stress and creating pathways to success. By focusing on positive values, we encouraged students to work towards their goals.

Assembly: Mental Health Talk and Class Activity on Peer Support

To foster peer support among students and promote mental health awareness, our school’s Educational Psychologist, Ms. Lee, has given Form 2 students a talk on how to be good companions to their friends in need. Following her practical tips, students were led by their class teachers to complete a class activity that allows them to show appreciation and support to their classmates ahead of the exam.
