New IT facilities in school library

Upon the renovation of our school library, new IT facilities have been adopted. New facilities include book RFID sensor, security system, high quality presentation tools and library operating system software. Before the operation of the new library, student helpers spent so much effort in the installation of RFID chips. The chips, reader together with the new operating system software facilitates much efficient borrowing and returning procedure. It tremendously dimishes the workload of school librarians and teachers.

SFC Leadership Training Day Camp

SFC Leadership Training Day Camp was held on 25th February, 2019. 40 students from PLKTNKJSC had a day camp in Po Leung Kuk Vicwood K.T.Chong Sixth Form College. They had leadership training through activities prepared by the Sixth Form College students. Students from both schools developed friendship.

Second Term Book Fair (2018-2019)

The second term book fair was organized by the school library from 28 February to 1 March. We aimed at cultivating reading habits among students and establishing atmosphere of reading at school. Different kinds of books were displayed, such as fiction, novel and biography etc. Students could enjoy and read the books that they like. The book fair was a great success since many students came and participated in the event.

Life-wide Learning Day

Our school has always been keen on promoting whole person development among students. The Life-wide Learning Day was set up by the school to provide a wide-range of student-centered activities for enhancing students' learning culture, contributing to the growth of ideal graduates according to our school mission.

Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad and 36th Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad

The GUANGDONG-HONG KONG-MACAO Greater Bay Area Mathematical Olympiad 2019 (Heat-Hong Kong Region) was held on 16th December and the (Advance-Greater Bay Region) was held on 17th February. Our school Mathematics Team also joined the 36th Hong Kong Mathematics Olympiad and they tried their best to strive for good results.

MTR Community Art Gallery Exhibition

Our students joined the MTR Community Art Gallery Exhibition in December. Artworks of students from Photography Team were exhibited at Mei Foo MTR station, showing the effort of students.

2019 Fun Science Competition

Three students from Science Club and Team joined the 2019 Fun Science Competition held by the Hong Kong Science Museum and Hong Kong Association for Science and Mathematics Education in the morning of 16/2/2019 (Saturday). Students designed and built up their own car with programming by using micro: bit so as to achieve the target set and complete the competition. Students showed their passion and talent on designing, programming and problem-solving within limited preparation time.

Alumni Annual General Meeting

The Alumni Annual General Meeting was successfully held at our school on 18th January 2019. The participants had poon choi together with our teachers that day. A campus tour was also held in order to visit our new library and know more about our school development in recent years.

There were a number participants joining the Alumni AGM.

Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2019

29 members from our scout troop joined Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2019 as a volunteer. It is our honor to have a chance to participate in such a big event.
