Robotics Team: Faraday Challenge Day Hong Kong 2019

In order to enhance the reading atmosphere in school, the library prepares a series of themed activities every month. The theme of May in 2019 is 'Detective Fiction'. The library has prepared many excellent detective fictions and two activities for students. The library first organized a game booth during lunch recess on 17th May. In the game, students were asked to solve some logical reasoning problems. On 31st May, the library organized an inter-class competition about crimes.
The School Library invited Mr. Daneil Cheung, a travel blogger and reporter, to deliver a talk for 25 students in the self-study room after school on 29 May. Mr. Cheung shared his unforgettable experiences of traveling and writing during the talk, he encouraged students to broaden their horizons by visiting different countries and cultures. Students found the talk meaningful. After the talk, students chatted and shared their travel experience with Mr.
The Geography and History Club brought a full-of-fun lunchtime activity to our students. In the activity, students had to find out the location of the countries within a specific time on the world map. Students can choose different mode (easy or difficult) in this game. The more countries they can find out within the specific time, the higher chance they can become the "King of map". All in all, students had great fun in the activity.
The Geography Department offered the secondary students an experience of exploring the Mai Po wetland on 24th May 2019. Students can experience the beauty of this truly unique and ecologically diverse wetland location. Guided by a natural interpreter, the tour follows a designated trail that explores the gei wai (traditional shrimp ponds), boardwalk and natural habitats of local wildlife, as well as the birdwatching hides.
Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Competition Closing Ceremony was held on 26 May 2019. The Competition was run by the Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Association. It aimed at providing local secondary students with the opportunity to receive legal education and conduct advocacy. Our students gained a valuable experience from the activity.
Students from class 1C, 1D and 1K had an informative and fun day at Civic Education Resource Centre on 24 May, 2019. Through the interactive games and movie sharing session, students were able to learn more about civic responsibilities and their nation.
A visit to Tao Heung Museum of Food Culture was held on 24 May 2019 for forty Form three students from 3A and 3B. During an hour visit, history of food culture, table manners, Ching and Han Royal Dynasty Feast, etc. were introduced to students. Students were attracted by a few interesting stories about our Chinese food culture told by the museum tour guide.
The 2018-2019 Second Uniform Test Prize Presentation Ceremony was held at the school hall during the morning assembly on 17th May, 2019.

Form 2: 2A Ma Ka Lok, 2A Lam Chak Yu and 2E Wong Ho Long Bibiane
Form 1: 1B Teng Rui, 1A Cheung Hin Wai and 1B Ng Chung Hang.
