Entrepreneurship and Maker Market – Geography Department

During the Entrepreneurship and Maker Market, the Geography Department brought a full-of-fun activity to our students. In the activity, students took part in the Typhoon pavilion in the covered playground. They had to finish some tasks when experiencing the strong wind and rainstorm in the tent. Also, they had to make their own anemometer and to play a hurricane game. All in all, students had great fun in the activity.

The 2018-2019 Form 3 First Term Exam Prize Presentation Ceremony was held at the school hall during the morning assembly on 22 March, 2019.

Voluntary Service in Mainland China

In March 2019, a group of teachers, social workers and students went to Mainland China for a voluntary service. The destinations included Nangang Millennium Yao Zhai Village of Liannan, the Liannan Care and Attention Homes for the elderly, the Lianzhou Heishan Primary school, and the Youling of Liannan. The students served as the volunteers teaching primary school students and spending time with the elderly. What was more, they learnt folk dance and tried making Chinese traditional handcrafts. They have broadened their horizons through the trip.

Maker Festival - Handmade Musical Instruments Inter-class Competition

Handmade Musical Instruments Inter-class Competition was held by the Music Department on 19th March. Representatives of each class created their unique musical instruments by using recycled materials and performed their own music in the school hall during lunch recess. Some students formed a percussion band by using the recycling bins while others used a box with rubber bands to imitate the sound of Chinese plucked instruments. Everyone was surprised by the creativity of the students and the musical instruments they created. We all had a fun time.

A Visit from Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College

We are delighted to invite teachers from Chan Sui Ki (La Salle) College to our school on 20 March 2019. Also, we are pleased to share the footage about the IT education in our school with them.

Creative and Innovative Entrepreneurship and Maker Fortnight - Visual Arts

During the Creative and Innovative Entrepreneurship and Maker Fortnight, the Visual Arts Department organized the lunchtime activity for students on 11th March. Students were invited to design their class mascot. They tried to design the mascot with the acrylic paint. Besides, students made good use of their creativity to add unique decorations.

Sports Day

The Annual Sports Day was held on 15 March, 2019 in Tsing Yi Sports Ground. Although it was a rainy day, everyone enjoyed the events that day. Our talented athletes showed their great athletic skills through various events, such as 100m running, relay, long jump, high jump, etc.
