School Events

ECA session (Interest Class)

The ECA session (Interest class) started from 12th October, 2018. We have organized 9 Interest classes for students to develop their interests in non-academic aspects. They are Korean, Spanish, Japanese, Magic, Mini Model-making, Aerial Photography, Photography, Chinese/International Chess and Guitar Classs. Different Interest classes provide a great opportunity for students to enrich their life, social experience and also to develop their potential in non-academic aspects.

Students are happy with the models they made.

S.3 Assembly (Healthy School Programme)

A talk about 'Healty Campus' was conducted on 22nd October 2018 during the assembly for all S.3 students. We were happy to invite our honorable guests to give a talk to our students in order to promote a healthy school life. Students have learnt more about what healthy school is and how to stay a healthy school life.

Sham Shui Po District Reading Promotion Scheme 2018 Book Purchase Activity

This year, our school was invited to join the Sham Shui Po District Reading Promotion Scheme 2018 Book Purchase Activity. Fifteen students were selected to join this meaningful activity that was held on October 30 at the Commercial Press in Tsim Sha Tsui. With the $280 sponsor for each student, our students enthusiastically picked their favourite books in the store.

Pan-Asia Pacific International Mathematics Invitation Competition 2019

The Pan-Asia Pacific International Mathematics Invitation Competition 2019 was held on 28th October, 2018 (Sunday) in Scientia Secondary School. Our school Mathematics Team joined the competition and they tried their best to strive for good results.

Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Competition 2018/19

Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Competition was held in October 2018. The competition was run by the Hong Kong Schools Mooting and Mock Trial Association. It aimed at providing local secondary students with the opportunity to receive legal education and conduct advocacy. Our students gained valuable experience through participating in the activity.

Celebration of PLK Services 140th Anniversary Percussion Ensemble Performance

In order to broaden students' horizons and enrich their performing experience, our school percussion team participated in the celebration of Po Leung Kuk Services 140th Anniversary (Percussion Ensemble Performance) organized by Po Leung Kuk on 21st October.

English Department Halloween Party

Thank you to everyone who made the annual English Department Halloween party a great success. This year's event fell on Monday, October 15 and provided students fun during lunch recess in the school hall. Creative costumes, music, games, and - of course - the candy guessing contest is the highlight of the event.

Students felt anxious when they stuck their hands inside the Mystery boxes.

Scout Promise Day

Scout Promise Day of the Kowloon 126th Scout and Venture Scout was held on 20 October 2018. We were honored to have Mr. MA Chun Keung, District Commissioner, Sham Mong District, Scout Association of Hong Kong to officiate the ceremony.

Knowledge of China Competition

Six students joined the Knowledge of China Competition which was held by the Education Bureau at Scientia Secondary School. Students have learnt a lot about our nation from the competition.
