Civil Aid Service Cadet Corps F.1 Discipline Training Camp

Civil Aid Service Cadet Corps F.1 Discipline Training Camp was successfully held in CAS Yuen Tun Camp from 20 January to 22 January. The camp aims to help Cadets become confident, responsible and cooperative. The Cadets received different trainings, including foot drilling, first aid, campcraft, knotcraft and campfire leadership. Besides the trainings, exciting outdoor adventure games were also prepared for the students. Outstanding Cadets received prizes at the end of the camp.

All cadets took a group photo together with the instructors, teachers and the principal.

F3 Personal Growth Training Camp

The 3-day-2-night Personal Growth Training Camp for F.3 students was held in Po Leung Kuk Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp in late January. The training camp provides ample opportunities for students to enhance their personal development. There are various team building tasks and fieldtrip challenges to raise the leadership ability, team spirit and resilience.

Chinese Orchestra Concert (24 Jan, 2018)

A group of 48 students and 2 teachers attended the Chinese Orchestra Concert which was one of the events orgranized for the 2016 - 2018 Jockey Club Chinese Music Education and Outreach Programme on 24 January, 2018. Everyone enjoyed the great performance by the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra.

All the students took a photo in front of the Youth Plaza in Chai Wan.

Halloween Activity Day

The Halloween Activity Day was successfully held on 18 October, 2017 during lunch recess. Students enjoyed the game booths prepared by the English Ambassdors a lot. There were Mysterious Boxes, Shooter, Pin a Wart on a Witch, Ghost Busters and Candies Guessing Game. Students received lots of stationeries and candies.

Smart City Project Competition: Induction Trip

Two groups of Form 3 students who have passed the first round selection of the Smart City Project Competition, organized by the Education Bureau, were invited to join a 2-day induction trip to Guangzhou. Students visited an organic farm and a power plant which generates electricity by incinerating waste collected in the city. From the visit, they got a chance to know more about how enterprises can operate in an environmental friendly and sustainable way.

Students were having a chat with a staff member at the organic farm in order to know more about their operation.

Chinese Traditional Performing Arts Show in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR

Our Chinese Orchestra was invited to perform in 'Chinese Traditional Performing Arts Show in Celebration of the 20th Anniversary of the Establishment of the HKSAR' at Mei Foo Community Hall on 16 December, 2017. The show aims to promote Chinese traditional performing arts through a variety of performances and to share the happiness of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the HKSAR with residents.

Our Chinese Orchestra is performing a traditional Chinese piece, ‘Joyful Moment’ at Mei Foo Community Hall.

Sex Education Assembly

An assembly of sex education for S1 and S2 students was held to introduce the gender relationship.

A speaker, Ms. Lo, from the Society for Truth and Light was invited to provide the talk.
