Civic Education Resource Centre Visit

During the visit to the Civic Education Resource Centre (CERC), a guided tour was provided to promote civic education. It was divided into two sessions. The first part was a movie show, and the second part was the introduction of moral and civic education. In the centre, there are some displays introducing the national flag, flag raising ceremony, basic law, and things about personal growth and family.

Students were watching a film which was about the study life of a student in China.

3B and 3C Educational Talk – Sharing about Diplomacy

Classes 3B and 3C participated in an educational talk organized by Chinese History Department. The talk was given by Mr. Liu Nan, the representative from the Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong S.A.R.. The content of the talk was about the introduction of diplomacy, the nature of China's diplomacy and the functions of the Commissioner's Office of China's Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong S.A.R.. Students benefitted greatly from the talk and they all had a fruitful morning.

We are very honored to have 3 representatives, Mr. Wang, Mr. Shao and Mr. Liu from the Commissioner’s Office of China’s Foreign Ministry in the Hong Kong S.A.R. to deliver the talk.

2015/2016 Alumni, Teachers and Students Dodgeball Game

The 2015/2016 Alumni, Teachers and Students Dodgeball Game was held to maintain and promote unity and fellowship among the graduates, teachers and current students. The activity was held in the school hall. The participants enjoyed the friendly competition very much.

1E Community Service

1E students visited the Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong, the New Jade Manufacturing Centre on 24th June, 2016. Students visited and played games with the workers in the center. The workers shared their working experience and the struggles of dealing with mental distress.

1B Community Service

1B students visited the Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong, the Ping Shan House on 21st May, 2016. Students cleaned up the farm and the residents shared the experience of living in the House as well as the struggles of dealing with mental distress.

1D Community Service

1D students visited the Richmond Fellowship of Hong Kong, the Sheung Tak House on 7th May, 2016. Students taught the residents making Teru teru bōzu and they shared their products with the community after the program. The residents shared the experience of living in the House as well as the struggles of dealing with mental distress.

Teaching Mission in China

Members of the Community Services Team participated in the Teaching Mission in China during 17th March to 20th March, 2016. Students prepared different activities for students in China and conducted home visits to have a better understanding about their situations. Students performed well during that period and most of them reflected that they were in paradise when compare with students in China. Some of them learnt that they should treasure what they have already owned and understood the importance of volunteer services.
