The 5th Chinese History Elite Competition

Our Chinese History school team members took part in the 5th Chinese History Elite Competition on 22 July 2022, which was organized by Bastille Post. It was a single elimination tournament. The coverage of the competition included ancient and modern Chinese History. Our students learnt a valuable lesson in this competition because the level of the competition was so advanced and coverage of the competition was so comprehensive.

Our Chinese History school team members took part in 5th Chinese History Elite Competition on 22 July 2022, which was organized by Bastille Post. It is a kind of single elimination tournament. An ancient Chinese History and modern Chinese History were involved in the coverage of the competition. Our students learnt a valuable lesson in this competition because the level of the competition was so advanced and coverage of the competition was so comprehensive.

Healthy School Scheme

A game booth and health talk were organised for our S1 students under the Healthy School Scheme.

F.1 Job Simulation 2021-22

A job simulation was conducted on 22nd July, 2022. It was held to help Form 1 students learn more about various career paths. Students were asked to perform duties related to different occupations such as Chinese medicine practitioners, pastry chefs, marketing executives, photographers and kindergarten teachers. Most students were very active. The overall feedback was positive!

Students were listening attentively to the instructor.

MCNEC: A visit to Tuen Mun 'T Park'

To educate students about the concepts of "sustainability" and "eco-friendly", the Moral, Civic and National Education Committee organized a visit to the Tuen Mun ‘T Park’ on 22nd July, 2022. Through this visit, students have had a deeper understanding of the waste treatment technologies nowadays in Hong Kong.

S2 & S3 Talk “Traditional Careers vs Newly Emerged Careers”

Healthy School Scheme is carried out by DGC and MCNEC throughout the year. A talk themed “Traditional Careers vs Newly Emerged Careers” was held on 16 June by Po Leung Kuk for Form 2 and Form 3 students as one of the activities. Some newly emerged careers such as Key Opinion Leader (KOL), Esports player and a new model for work/life success “SLASH” were introduced. A guest speaker was invited to share his experience as a freelance and a YouTuber. Finally, the students were encouraged to equip themselves and set goals to strive for their future.

The talk was conducted by Mr. Lee, a registered social worker from Po Leung Kuk.

Students music concert: Romance of Germany

Our students collaborated with String Orchestra on 23 June to perform a concert called Romance of Germany. In the program, students rehearsed with professional orchestral players from the String Orchestra. 3A Chan Ho Hin, 3D Shiu Chi Hin, 2A Chu Tin Yan and 1F Ng Yat Nam prepared music composed by Vivaldi and Shostakovich and performed in the school hall for students and teachers.
