Public Performance of Cello by Mathra Yip

Miss Yip Nga Yin, Mathra, from Class 3A had a public cello performance at Hong Kong Cultural Centre Piazza, in Tsim Sha Tsui on 10th February,2017. She performed for the programme of "Urban Lunar New Year Lantern Carnival" held by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

S3 Leadership and Discipline Training Camp

The 4-day-3-night Leadership Training Camp for F.3 students was held in late January. The training camp provides ample opportunities for students enhances students' personal development. There are marching training, national education and fieldtrip challenge to raise the leadership ability, team spirit and the sense of belongings to our nation.

Healthy Campus Programme - Overnight Camp: Exploring the Nature

One of the activities of the Healthy School Scheme is a two-day camp "Exploring the Nature" which was held from 20 to 21 January. It was held in Wu Kai Sha Youth Village. There were many attractive activities such as challenging group work, adventure games, outdoor cooking, war games, etc.

A study tour of the foreign architectural footprints in Guangzhou from the past to present

The Chinese Language Department and Visual Arts Department of our school joined a Mainland Exchange Program for Junior Secondary students to visit the western historical architecture in Guangzhou. It was offered by Education Bureau from 25th to 26th November, 2016. We aimed at nurturing our students' visual literacy in learning the characteristics of a historical building and to appreciate how architects expressed their tastes, creativity and values of a society in colonial times through this tour.

CGC Workplace Visit : M1 Hotel (Dec 2016)

To help students acquire more knowledge about the career world and to broaden their horizons, CGC organized a workplace visit to M1 Hotel. The hotel manager gave a talk to our participants to let them know more about the hotel business. The responses and feedback were positive and the students enjoyed the opportunities to explore the outside world.

CGC Workplace Visit : The Maritime Museum (Nov 2016)

To help students acquire more knowledge about the career world and to broaden their horizons, CGC organized a workplace visit to the Maritime Museum. Participants could get on a tow ship and they were able to know more about the business and career path. The responses and feedback were good and students treasured the opportunities to explore the outside world.
