Silver Jubilee School Open Day

In order to introduce our school and the latest facilities, the school organized a School Open Day for the interested parents on 10th December 2022 (Sat). To start with, there was an admission talk conducted by our Assistant Principal and Vice Principal. After the talk, a campus tour was arranged and various subject faculties displayed their curriculum, students' achievements and extra-curricular activities to parents.

Many parents and children attended the talk.

Silver Jubilee Celebration Ceremony

To mark the 25th anniversary of Tong Nai Kan Junior Secondary College, the Silver Jubilee Celebration Ceremony was held on 10th December 2022 (Saturday). This year, the school was delighted to invite honorable guests from the Education Bureau (EDB), the school supervisor and managers, principals, as well as other important guests to attend the event. Prizes were given to honorable guests and staff members who have dedicated their life to education. Near the end, there was a drone light show that summed up the development of the school!

Picnic Day

On November 25th, our school community came together for a fun-filled picnic day at Pak Tam Chung Holiday Camp. Students and teachers enjoyed a day of outdoor activities. The picturesque setting of Pak Tam Chung provided the perfect backdrop for a day of relaxation and bonding. From games and sports to arts and crafts, there was something for everyone to enjoy. It was a truly special day for everyone involved and we would like to extend a big thank you to all who participated and helped make this event a huge success!

Joint-School PTA Family Activity

In order to foster the cooperation between parents and the school, a Joint-School PTA Family activity was held on 19th November, 2022 (Saturday) by the PTA of our school and P.L.K. Vicwood K.T. Chong Sixth Form College. All participants, including parents, students and teachers enjoy the moment of being together!

Career Talk 1 (2022-23) - Junior Achievement Hong Kong

Money plays an important role in everyone's daily life. How students manage money will surely have a huge impact on their career and life planning. Therefore, the school worked with Junior Achievement Hong Kong (J.A.) closely and organized a talk for students. During the talk, two guests who had experience in life planning were invited to share their thoughts about how money should be spent. Most students thought that the talk was very informative and they learnt how to manage their spending wisely.

Life Wide Learning Day To Disneyland Adventure Land With Exploration of Science

On the 11th of November, the whole school of TNK visited Disneyland with a mission to make learning Physics and Technology fun and exciting. A special itinerary was tailored to introduce the scientific elements of the nature on the force of gravity, velocity, potential energy, centripetal and centrifugal forces with demonstrations by different groups of facilitators.

The 19th PTA Annual General Meeting

The 19th PTA Annual General Meeting was held on 4 November 2022 at the school hall successfully. During the meeting, an alternate election of the 19th Parent Committee Members was conducted. Letters of Commission were given to all members. We were honoured to receive the Outstanding PTA award. The Outstanding Parent Volunteer Award was also presented to parent committee members. Before the end of the meeting, Principal Wong took a group photo with all executive committee members of the PTA.

Halloween Celebration

The English Department held a Halloween Celebration on 4 November 2022 (Friday) at lunch recess. There were game booths such as Shooter, Pin A Wart on A Witch, Ghost Busters, and Halloween Mystery Boxes. Students liked Ghost Busters the most as they could take on the challenge of tongue twisters in English. The event ended with a fruitful result as all the participants enjoyed the celebration. Special thanks to our English Ambassadors and student helpers who were behind the scenes.

PuTongHua Speech Competition
